A family-owned trucking company serving the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Seaboard since 2009. We haul freight — and we do it right.
Grossman Trucking LLC was founded in 2009 by Robert Grossman Sr., a former long-haul driver who believed the freight industry could be better — more reliable, more transparent, and more personal. Starting with a single truck and a handful of local accounts, Robert built the company through sheer work ethic and a relentless focus on doing right by every client.
Today, Grossman Trucking operates a modern fleet serving customers from small businesses to regional manufacturers across the Mid-Atlantic corridor. We run port drayage at the Port of Virginia, manage LTL consolidations, and handle large-scale FTL contracts — all under one roof.
We're still family-owned and family-operated. That means you'll talk to a real person, get a straight answer, and receive the kind of attention that bigger carriers simply can't provide.
These aren't posters on a wall. They're the standards we hold ourselves to on every single load.
If we say we'll be there, we'll be there. Our 98% on-time delivery rate isn't luck — it's the result of disciplined planning and a culture that takes commitments seriously.
No hidden charges, no vague status updates. From your initial quote to your final invoice, every detail is documented and shared without being asked.
We're not just moving freight — we're supporting your business. We invest time in understanding your operation so our service makes yours better.
Our safety culture is non-negotiable. All drivers undergo rigorous screening, annual training, and regular vehicle inspections. Zero-tolerance for shortcuts.
We continually update our fleet to newer, more fuel-efficient vehicles and seek routing efficiencies that reduce our carbon footprint without sacrificing service.
We live here, work here, and hire locally. Grossman Trucking is proud to support the Virginia communities that have supported us since day one.
